Return and Exchange Policy

Shah Style Inc (Āve Chicago)

1. IN-STORE PURCHASES – ALL SALES FINAL

All purchases made in-store at Shah Style Inc. are final sale. No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted under any circumstances. This includes:

  • Jewelry purchases
  • Sale and clearance items

2. ONLINE PURCHASE RETURNS

  • Regular-priced items below $300 are eligible for return under the following conditions:
  • Return must be shipped within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Items must be in original condition, shipped back with its original packaging, with tags intact.
  • A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
  • After inspection, customers will be notified of the return status.
  • Jewelry purchased online is final sale. No returns or exchanges.
  • By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Ready-to-ship items available at our Schaumburg, IL location may have been used as floor samples, in photoshoots, or tried on. These are sold as-is and are final sale

3. CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS

Returns (if approved) must meet the following conditions:

  • Items must be new, unworn, with tags attached and original packaging (box, garment bag).
  • For damaged items upon delivery:
  • Notify us at orders@shahstyleinc.com within 48 hours with photo evidence.
  • Failure to notify within this timeframe may void return eligibility.
  • Returns will be denied for:
  • Items returned with damage not present at delivery (e.g., makeup stains, rips, missing parts, broken closures).
  • These items will be returned to the customer at their expense.

4. ALTERATIONS

Shah Style Inc. does not offer on-site alterations and is not affiliated with any tailors or seamstresses.
Clients are fully responsible for all alteration arrangements and outcomes.

Bridal Attire Alterations

  • Bridal items over $3000 per piece include an optional $250 fitting fee, which covers:
  • One fitting session
  • Initial alterations
  • Clients may waive this fee but will be responsible for all alterations independently.
  • Any direct alteration with third-party vendors outside Shah Style Inc.’s presence nullifies this service.

Groomswear Alterations

  • Made-to-measure orders include a $250 fitting fee, which covers:
  • One fitting session
  • Initial alterations
  • Fee may be waived, but the client assumes full responsibility thereafter.
  • As with bridal, third-party arrangements outside our supervision nullify our services.

Additional Alterations

  •  Any tailoring beyond the $250 limit is the client’s financial responsibility and must be paid before delivery.

Ready-to-Wear & Standard Sizes

  • No alterations provided by Shah Style Inc.
  • Clients must coordinate and manage all alteration needs independently.
  • Made-to-measure pieces typically require post-production alterations. This is due to the nature of the garments and pieces. 

5. RIGHT TO DECLINE RETURNS

Shah Style Inc (Āve Chicago) reserves the right to decline any return that does not meet our policy.

  • Items returned in unacceptable condition will be shipped back.
  • Customers are responsible for any associated return shipping fees.

6. SIZING POLICY

Each designer provides a size chart.

  • Additional charges may apply for sizes above:
  • Bust 40
  • Chest 44
  • These surcharges may be added after the initial purchase.
  • Clients must pay any remaining balance before delivery. Failure to do so may delay or cancel the order.
  • Cancelled orders under this clause are non-refundable.

7. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION

By using our website or communicating via email, you consent to receive electronic messages from Shah Style Inc.

  • Electronic notices meet legal requirements for written communication.

8. ORDER CANCELLATION

  • Customers may request cancellation within 24 hours of placing an order online.
  • Shah Style Inc. reserves the right to accept or deny such requests.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations.
  • If approved, the order amount may be issued as store credit for future purchases. This store credit does expire within 30 days of issuing.

9. MODIFICATION OF TERMS

Shah Style Inc (Āve Chicago) reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

  • We encourage customers to review them periodically.
